In certain templates you may find that when you want to blockquote some text the quoting background color will not show you any difference or will not corespond to your template backround color. So here in this post will see how we can change the background color of our blockquote.
- Login to your Dashboard
- Click on Layout
- Click on EDIT Html Tab
- And search for this line of code or similar code as this
.post blockquote {
background: #E8E8E8;
Now change the color you desire of your post blockquote in hexadecimal format to the color marked in red. You can refer to hexadecimal colors here - Now save your template and view your post blockquote backgroud color changed.
